Living in the Moment - is told from the point of view of a teacher at a boys boarding school who employs a male chef for the school canteen. The chef takes the job on condition he can have his grown up daughter live with him, in his apartment on school grounds. Over time the narrator befriends the pair and socialises with them occasionally. Until one night he catches a glimpse of them furiously making love. This puts the narrator, their employer, into a very tricky situation.
