Outspoken UK politician, Austin Mitchell has a long-standing connection with New Zealand. He taught at both Canterbury University and the University of Otago in the late 1950s.
He is best known here for his 1970 book and later TV series The Half Gallon, Quarter-Acre Pavlova Paradise which looked at politics and culture in New Zealand.
Mitchell is back in Aotearoa teaching summer school and he joins Wallace to talk about what's changed in the intervening years..
