Syrian war at Turkey's doorstep

The war is Syria has come to Turkey's doorstep in the city of Kobani. The city of 44,000 is in the Aleppo Governorate in northern Syria and has been under onslaught by the ISIL group since mid September when they launched an offensive there - capturing several Kurdish villages around the town.
