Museum Stop: Edwin Fox Maritime Museum
Today we're sailing into some maritime history with a stop at the Edwin Fox Museum in Picton. The Edwin Fox is one of the world's oldest surviving merchant sailing ships. The 19th century wooden vessel carried migrants to New Zealand, troops to the Crimean War and is the only surviving ship which transported convicts to Australia. Today, it resides in Picton. Manager of the Edwin Fox Museum, Karen McLeod, joins Anna to delve into the history.
