The search is ongoing for a passenger who fell off the cruise ship the Norwegian Jewel near Mahia in Hawke's Bay. A coastguard unit from Napier and the Eastland Rescue Helicopter are scouring the region.Two container ships, an Air Force helicopter and two yachts found no sign of the man yesterday.
Rescue Co-ordination Centre spokesperson Vince Cholewa says the Norwegian Jewel's CCTV footage has been viewed and police will meet the ship when it berths in Auckland today.
