For most people, a visit to the undertakers is something loaded with connotations.

For some there's the fear of either dying themselves or a loved one dying.

Also there's the impression that the undertaker is a grim and rather austere person.

Spectrum producer Mike Rowntree rang 0800 Undertaker to find out if the po-faced image was true. The reality was completely the opposite. Mike met the very down-to-earth team at Geoffrey Hall funeral Services in Rangiora, just north of Christchurch.
