Peter Harcourt recalls in an interview with Jessica Weddell in 1980 his early days in radio and discusses some of the theatre work he was involved in, including revues and the recording of The Land of the Long White Shroud Includes song September in Ohakune sung by Peter and Kate Harcourt from a private recording. He mentions wartime messages from the troops and an example featuring New Zealand airmen in Canada at Christmas 1941 is included.
