Internationally acclaimed scientist Carl Bergstrom is a Professor of Biology at the University of Washington.
He is also a founder of the university's Center for an Informed Public and is currently in New Zealand for a series of public lectures on the impact of social media and AI, hosted by Te Pūnaha Matatini.
Professor Bergstrom talks to Mihingarangi about why humans are so psychologically wired for online and whether we are living with "modern-day oracles or bullsh*t machines."
