The Prime Minister has dismissed reports the government's electric vehicle subsidy plan has been halted in its tracks by New Zealand First. The Greens claimed on Friday the roll-out of the policy, which would involve subsidies for fuel-efficient cars and penalties for gas guzzlers, had been held up by New Zealand First. While NZ First appeared to tweet its support for killing off the policy, Jacinda Ardern told Morning Report today that discussions on the policy were ongoing.
