09:05 Scrap over trolley buses in Wellington
The Greater Wellington Regional Council is fronting up to the Wellington City Council to explain its 10 year transport plan, which it has just signed off. The plan will see the capital city's famous trolley buses taken off the road in three years, and replaced with hybrid diesel-electric buses.
Fran Wilde is the Wellington Regional Council chair; and Nicola Young is a Wellington City Councillor.
