On their return to New Zealand from the UK to avoid Y2K, Justin Murphy and his wife decided to go trekking in Nepal. They (of course) ran into Peter Hillary, but then had to cope with an utterly unexpected medical situation on what was a dark day for New Zealand rugby fans.
