Vinegar Valentines

From Nights, 7:13 pm on 6 March 2017

St Valentine's Day is that day we celebrate the patron saint of love - a martyr from the latter days of the roman empire, who married Christian couples and paid for it with his life. These days we tend to celebrate his life by sending flowers or cards, professing love. Often, those who are shy - may not sign their name. Anne-bella, Pollen, has been studying, people who did the opposite; sending a vinegar valentine, a message of hate, sent anonymously, all the rage in Victorian times. Vulgar cards for that not so special someone.
