In Friday Night Live we dip into the RNZ Music archives for part three of some special live performances you may have missed tonight it's UK-born, Auckland based Nigerian artist and producer Hugh Ozumba - known as Unchained XL and Mazbou Q.

Inspired by the likes of Femi Kuti, The Roots & Black Star, Mazbou Q combines hip-hop and soul with socio-political commentary.

Mazbou Q's debut album, was released in 2021, and in May that year he performed at Te Oro Arts centre for Music 101, a session you'll hear tonight.

Operation Cover Up sends hand-knitted blankets and clothing to Eastern Europe to where it is most needed. 83-year-old Gladys Familton has been knitting for the project for 22 years
