This week, a man with 7,000 rare Arab classical 7RPMs – the Lebanese record collector Kamal Kassar – talks about his new four-CD collection of early 1900s recordings by the maverick Egyptian singer Abdel Hay Hilmi. Music too from possibly the best band in China,  a project from Israel, jazz of sorts the US, and other treats from Colombia, Lebanon, the UK and Benin.
