US Forestry Services wildlife biologist Dr William (Bill) Gaines on the search for Grizzlies (as opposed to Black Bears) in the north cascade mountains - Grizzlies were hunted nearly to extinction in the late 1880s and there has been only one confirmed sighting in the last decade.
