From RNZ Music, 10:00 am on 10 October 2020

RNZ Music is stoked to present the new single and video from former Shapeshifter sax-n-synth man Devin Abrams, aka Pacific Heights. ‘The Weight Of It’ is the first single from his upcoming album.

‘The Weight of It’ is the first new music from Pacific Heights since he was nominated for Best Electronic Artist at the 2019 NZ Music Awards for his record A Lost Light.

He describes the song as “like a future blues track for a post-apocalyptic world”, and like much of Devin’s work it has a dream-like quality. The track features vocals from UK electronic stalwart Steve Spacek.
