The Gathering was a New Years Eve music festival on the top of a Mountain near Nelson, New Zealand. Debuting in 1996, the Gathering had a huge impact on the dance music community in NZ and all those who attended. Kirsten Johnstone and Sam Wicks tracked down a handful of organisers, punters and musicians/producers to reminisce.
