Jessica Pratt's music shimmers. The LA-based artist's new album, Here In the Pitch, feels like a recontextualisation of psychedelic folk in a modern context, with a vintage flavour influenced by delicate sonic textures and Pratt’s crooning, understated vocals.

14:15 London-based musician Arjuna Oakes releases debut album
Arjuna Oakes masterfully blends contemporary jazz, soul and electronica influences into a unique sound. Oakes cut his teeth on the Wellington jazz scene, where he wrote and recorded his debut album, While I’m Distracted.

Folk musician Hannah Everingham joined Maggie Tweedie for The Mixtape. The Ōtautahi-born singer-songwriter, has a folk touch with a tropical inflection. She released her sophomore album, Siempre Tiene Flores, in 2024.
