Waste is piling up days after Auckland's catastrophic rain on Friday, and some are still in the dark on how to dispose of damaged household items.
Yesterday, Mayor Wayne Brown announced people can take storm waste to their nearest transfer stations for free .
But there is still no clarity on whether the worst hit areas will get special skips or help with the clean up.
