All eyes are now turning to the South Island as the bad weather moves in - again.
The front is making its way down the motu after hiting Northland yesterday leaving it soggy with slips and flooding - we will head there for the latest shortly.
But for now, Canterbury is in the firing line, making it the third extreme weather event in two weeks for the region.
