Wild weather is expected to continue moving across the South today, and in Canterbury local Civil Defence will be moving to assist the locals cope with periods of hard rain that's expected to continue until Wednesday.
The local Canterbury Civil Defence Emergency Management is also looking to do its best to help mitigate some of the ongoing effects - particularly near swollen rivers - after the rains subside but the damage remains.
