Nearly 1,000 deaths on the road in past two and a half years

Nearly a thousand people have died on the roads in the past two and a half years. Those deaths are devastating families, but are also costing the country about 15-billion-dollars. Those working to halt the rise in the road toll say the huge social cost of crashes should be front of mind when planning for the future.
