New Plymouth tornado struck with no warning - locals

New Plymouth residents say a tornado that tore through several city blocks last night arrived with no warning. Up to 30 houses were damaged, some losing roofs. Police say it was lucky no one was injured. RNZ reporter Robin Martin was in the area shortly after the tornado struck about 5:30pm, and spoke to residents, including retired navy veteran Bob Coster.
