Weather: Rotorua to dry out after flash flood

A State of Emergency is in place in Ngongotaha near Rotorua on Monday morning after record-breaking rain caused flooding that forced the evacuation of about 30 homes on Sunday. The city suffered its wettest hour on record and in just 38 hours received nearly 1.5 times its normal April rainfall. RNZ reporter Andrew McRae is on Western Road near Ngongotaha.
