Taranaki tornado rips through houses

Winds picked up and remained strong across Taranaki on Tuesday night, where earlier in the morning a tornado ripped through the rural settlement of Rahotu, wrecking several houses. Taranaki Civil Defence duty controller Brent Manning joins Susie Ferguson to describe the scene.
