Weather: Work underway to free stranded travellers

helicopter took off just before 7am to survey roads in West Coast and also to check on the 115 stranded tourists near Franz Josef glacier. The police are coordinating their rescue and evacuation - they did have water and shelter overnight. News of their situation will come after 8am, but first we talk to chief executive of the Westland District Council, Simon Bastion.
