Weather: Will there be relief from summer scorcher?

It's been a summer sorcher for most of New Zealand with temperatures soaring throughout the country. Water levels have dropped significantly across the country and Tauranga is the latest city to introduce water restrictions. In Wellington authorities have dipped into its storage lakes two months earlier than usual, while Southland is facing its driest year on record. Niwa's Chris Brandolino tries to explain what's happening and what to expect.
