Real estate agents accused of mortgage broker deals

The Real Estate Agents Authority chief executive Kevin Lampen-Smith tells Morning Report the authority expects real estate agents to disclose if they get a commission from referring a client to a mortgage broker. A report from Consumer New Zealand shows some real estate agents are offering clients a mortgage broker who is from within their own company and earning a commission for it without the consumer's knowledge.
