New Zealand breaking rainfall records in 2017

If you've been thinking it's been a wetter than usual where you are, you're probably right. Auckland has had just shy of its usual annual rainfall in just nine months, while Tauranga and Christchurch have already surpassed their normal tally. Niwa meteorologist Ben Noll has been looking into the figures and tells us it's been a very wet year so far.
