Surf lifesaver desribes a day in the Edgecumbe floodwaters

Among the locals answering the call for help yesterday in Edgecumbe was Allan Mundy. He and other surf lifesavers were out on the water in inflatable rubber boats, making sure no residents or pets had been left behind.
