Changing age of starting school could hit pre-schools

Early childhood centres are crying foul over a proposed law that will change when children can start school. They're worried the so-called 'cohort entry' which will mean 5 year olds start at the beginning of the term closest to their birthday will see big groups leaving pre-school centres - and that will be tough financially.
