Strong message to get out and vote at Waitangi celebrations

Te Arikinui Kuini Nga wai hono i te po has been welcomed to the Waitangi Treaty Grounds. At the powhiri the Kiingitanga pledged that the proceeds from the annual Turangawaewae Regatta in March will go to iwi heavily affected by recent severe weather events including in parts of Northland.
