Wild weather brought down high voltage cables and trees in Auckland, with gusts of up to 110 kilometres an hour. Firefighters were called to nearly 100 incidents from about 3 o'clock this morning. Māni Dunlop speaks to RNZ reporter Gill Bonnett who's on Auckland's North Shore.
