Matariki is seen and understood in many ways across the motu of Aotearoa New Zealand. Dr Pouroto Ngaropo spoke with Susana Lei'ataua this week about the celestial line up through the lens of his iwi Ngati Awa and his hapu Te Tawera in the eastern Bay of Plenty.
