Dubhead (Patrick Waller) at the 95bFM studio Photo: AudioCulture
Friend of the show, broadcaster Patrick Waller, who many know on the airwaves as Dubhead, has an ear for the obscure. He has spoken on this show about Library music, Jamaican 1970s Funky Reggae and Latin Boogaloo in the 60s.
Today he joins Maggie Tweedie and Mark Williams to offer an explainer of Congolese Sew-Kous and Congolese Rumba - a sound of independence. Today we head to the Democratic Republic of Congo.
