10.40 Thousands in New Plymouth without electricity
Thousands of homes in New Plymouth are without power this evening due to high winds. Fire fighters have attended more than 50 weather callouts around Taranaki today, due to wind gusts of up to 120 kilometres an hour. New Plymouth mayor Neil Holdom gives an update.
