Tolaga Bay One Year On

June 6th last year heavy rain caused water to flood through Tolaga Bay, surging through homes when the Mangaheia River burst its banks. Tologa Bay Farmer Bob Jackman remembers the deluge well. He was lucky not to have stock near the river on the day or he would have lost the lot. And with today's weather update, as well as the one year anniversary of the Tologa storm, we thought it timely to catch up with Bob and hear about how the region has recovered and how they cope when it comes to facing the worry of adverse weather conditions once again.
