10:20 A date for New Zealand's travel bubble with the Cook Islands

All going to plan, the travel bubble between New Zealand and the Cook Islands will begin in a fortnight on Monday 17 May. Karyn speaks with Kathrine Reid from Tivaevae Collectables in Rarotonga about this afternoon's announcement  that two-way travel will resume after more than a year of closed borders.

The New Zealand Government has apologised after the New Zealand High Commission tweeted begging the Indian Youth Congress for oxygen rather than the Indian Government. Karyn speaks with South Auckland GP, Dr Sapna Samant, about the grim impact of the coronavirus in India with more than 3500 deaths daily and the number of new cases topping 300-thousand daily for 10 days straight.
