10:20 Support package being tailor-made for NZ businesses

Cabinet ministers have given the green light to set up a support package for businesses struggling due to Covid-19.
 
The package will include wage subsidies for workers in worst affected sectors, as well as training and redeployment offers and the details are being worked through this week with a tailor-made response due next week.

10:30 Covid-19 global outbreaks: update from Hong Kong

Hong Kong flights are currently operated by Cathay Pacific as Air New Zealand gets its Rolls Royce engines repaired.

They'll resume on Air New Zealand aircraft from March 29 and would be adjusted from seven return services per week to four return services per week from April 21 to May 31.
