Joe Biden has sealed his comeback in the race to be the Democratic Party's candidate for the White House.

The former vice-president has won the most votes in eight of the 14 states contested in the Super Tuesday primaries.

Joining me now to talk through how Super Tuesday works and understand what has happened today is Dr Maria Armoudian from the University of Auckland.
