10.20 Abortion Law Reform Bill's second reading

Today more than 30 organisations signed an open letter which was sent to politicians showing support for abortion law reform.

One of the organisations who signed is Amnesty International Aotearoa New Zealand.

Karyn speaks with Amnesty's executive director Meg de Ronde​ about supporting a range of human rights such as bodily integrity, autonomy and health rights.

10.30  The dawn of Super Tuesday 

In the US, they call today Super Tuesday as democrats across 14 states get to vote on their preferred presidential candidate to stand against Donald Trump in November. Former vice president, Joe Biden, has been given a timely boost as two former rivals have declared their support for him - Pete Buttigieg who withdrew from the race on Sunday and Amy Klobushar  who pulled out yesterday.
