10:30 Whakapapa Quilts

For decades Ron Te Kawa has been known in communities large and small around the north and south islands for his signature clothing and art work all made out of recycled and reclaimed fabrics. Then he happened on the whakapapa quilt and it has lead to a whole initiative he delivers in community halls and marae around the country.
