Hundreds of Wellsford farmers to get free fencing materials
Auckland traffic is bad most days, but if things are a bit slower than usual on Wednesday morning - at least some if it can be put down to a good cause. Eight trucks with 90kms of free fencing will be making their way from Pokeno to Wellsford via State Highway 1. The donated materials are for hundreds of farmers who were affected by the Auckland Anniversary floods and Cyclone Gabrielle. The idea is the brainchild of a charity called the Rapid Relief Team and one of its directors Danny Blampied spoke to Nathan Rarere.
