Mustard and dill flavoured ice cream - do Aucklanders like it?

It's usually best to avoid dairy products when they taste bitter and smell funky. But a team of food technologists are so sure their mustard and dill ice cream is a winner, they entered it in the NZ Ice Cream and Gelato Awards. Most categoires are reserved for those from the industry, except the Open Creative category, where ice cream does not need to be sold to the public. So the team at Sensient Technologies got their thinking caps on, and made the craziest flavour they could come up with. It caught First Up's attention, so we get a batch and hit the streets of Auckland. But what were food technologists Duy Le and Annie Teoh thinking? They joined Nathan Rarere in the studio for a taste test.
