Tourism: Are tourism and hospitality staff ready?

Now, it's school holidays, the ski season has kicked off with a flurry, and more and more international flights are returning to Aotearoa. Stats NZ figures show about 1.4 million tourists came here in 20-22. Half-way through this year and more than a million have already visited. The Hotel Council Aotearoa says visitation levels are about 75 percent of what we saw pre-Covid. And with the FIFA Women's Football World Cup coming up, expectations are we'll soon be above that. But are we ready?
