"Holy Cow" golfers react to PGA/LIV merger
The landscape of professional golf has been turned on its head, with the PGA Tour entering into a relationship with the controversial Golf Saudi group. The Saudi government's Public Investment Fund, also known as the PIF (PIFF), will now be putting up billions of dollars to form a commercial entity they say will unify the sport. Players who had left to play on the Saudi run LIV Golf Tour were, until this announcement, banned from the PGA Tour. And as Leonard Powell reports, blindsided players aren't ruling out legal action.
