All Static & Noise showcases plight of China's Uyghurs
Seventy-one local and international films are currently screening in cinemas as part of the Documentary Edge Film Festival. One of these movies is All Static & Noise from the United States and it's about the oppression of Uyghur and Kazakh minorities in China. It's a powerful film that claims to exposes human rights violations through the stories of survivors and their families. Nathan Rarere spoke to the director David Novack.
