Australia: Sydney Inferno

Authorities are looking into what started Thursday's inferno in Sydney. Spectacular video footage is emerging of the massive blaze in the CBD that took more than 100 firefighters to bring under control. A multi-storey building caught fire around 4pm and the flames began spreading to neighbouring towers. Several nearby buildings in Surry Hills were evacuated as the fire took hold inside a heritage-listed former hat factory, near Sydney's Central railway station. People began screaming as bricks and large chunks of walls started crashing to the ground.
