NZ libraries declare amnesty on late fees

Library fines can be so off-putting they discourage people from borrowing books at all.

But that's changing fast, with over 700 libraries around the world and 53 percent of NZ libraries now fine-free.

Public Libraries of New Zealand is promoting this kaupapa in the new Fine Free Aotearoa campaign.
