Deputy PM: decision to remove mandates correct one

And as you may have heard earlier in the programme, from midnight Friday there will be no limit to outdoor gatherings and 200 people will be allowed to gather indoors, up from 100. And in less than a fortnight, on the 4th of April, vaccine passes will be scrapped, as will the vaccine mandates for education, Police and Defence Force workers. Mask rules will remain in force, but QR code scanning will also become a thing of the past. But some people are worried, particularly the immune compromised and those from other vulnerable groups who feel they'll be put at increased risk. Nathan Rarere discussed this with the Deputy Prime Minister, Grant Robertson, and started by asking: Given the number of new cases, hospitalisation and deaths we're currently seeing, is this decision the right one?
